Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Westwood Pharmacy is seeking a Sterile Products Pharmacy Technician to join our day-shift team. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will prepare, label, and dispense compounded and non-compounded items for patients, while maintaining accuracy and safety in accordance with USP standards.

You will manage inventory, assist with billing and patient communications, and ensure all records and equipment are kept up to date.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Active MA Board of Registration in Pharmacy license.
• 1+ years related work experience.
• Knowledge of Epic software.
• National Certification (PTCB/ExCPT) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store and distribute compounded & non compounded items.
• Inventory control and compliance audits.
• Handle insurance billing & patient collections.
• Provide internal & external customer service.
• Maintain pharmacy records and supervise equipment.
• Calibrate and inspect compounding equipment.
• Ensure accuracy of compounding records and formulas.
• Coordinate with pharmacy team on compound preparations.
