Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist in Ohio to oversee sterile operations within a modular cleanroom. You will ensure compliance with USP 797/800, supervise staff, and maintain high safety and quality standards per state and federal regulations.

Shift is 6:00am-6:00pm with a 2-2-3-2 rotation, and the role includes equity. You will train staff, document procedures, review materials, and work with R&D on scale-up of new sterile preparations while upholding HIPAA and safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
• Active pharmacist license in state of Ohio.
• Experience with sterile compounding; from non-sterile starting components preferred.
• Proficiency in USP 797 and 800 requirements and best practices.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible shift times.
• Must pass respirator fit testing; facial hair may affect seal.
• Leads in-person pharmacist and technician teams.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift sterile compounding activities per USP 797/800.
• Maintain aseptic technique and cleanroom standards.
• Train and guide compounding staff in aseptic manipulations and labeling.
• Document compounding procedures and QA/QC checks.
• Review and approve materials for sterile compounding.
• Oversee equipment use in sterile operations with maintenance.
• Coordinate with PIC, Sterile Compounding Manager, and lead pharmacist.
• Ensure safety guidelines and HIPAA/privacy rules are followed.
