Job summary

Hims & Hers seeks a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to oversee sterile operations in a modular cleanroom, ensuring USP 797/800 compliance and staff training. Day shift 6:00am-6:00pm, rotating schedule, with equity included.

You will supervise compounding activities, maintain aseptic standards, and collaborate with R&D on scale-up of new sterile preparations. Requires PharmD or B.Pharm, active Ohio license, and experience with sterile compounding and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with PharmD or B.Pharm from an accredited school.
• Active Ohio Pharmacist license.
• Experience with sterile compounding and USP compliance.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Ability to work flexible shift times.
• Willingness to wear PPE and handle hazardous drugs as required.
• Proven leadership of pharmacist and technician teams.
• Proficiency with Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift sterile compounding activities in compliance with USP 797/800.
• Maintain aseptic technique and cleanroom standards.
• Provide training and guidance on aseptic manipulations and packaging.
• Document compounding procedures and QA/QC checks.
• Review materials prior to use in sterile compounding.
• Oversee equipment used in sterile compounding with maintenance team.
• Monitor cleanroom workflow and environmental monitoring with QA.
• Collaborate with R&D on new compounded sterile preparations.
• Follow safety guidelines for compounded medications and PPE.
• Ensure PHI/privacy and HIPAA compliance in all processes.
