Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH is seeking a Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care using the nursing process. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and coordinate with the health team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role emphasizes medication safety, patient advocacy, and collaboration with spiritual and ethics teams. Prior BSN and certifications like BLS/ACLS are preferred, with opportunities for ongoing professional growth and benefits.

Formación

• Current RN license in state (or compact)
• BLS or ACLS preferred; ACLS within 6 months of hire
• BSN degree preferred
• CCRN/PCCN or NIH Stroke Certification preferred

Responsabilidades

• Conducts initial and ongoing patient assessment, develops plan of care
• Administers medications safely per policies and procedures
• Serves as point of contact for care coordination across departments
• Acts as patient safety advocate and contributes to quality improvement
• Collaborates with spiritual care, palliative care, and ethics teams
• Performs patient education and supports family/caregivers in care decisions
