Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 72 college credits or AA degree.
• ParaPath/ParaPro/Pearson/Master Teacher tests with required scores.
• Some child development coursework preferred.
• Experience with children in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Instruct individuals or small groups to promote learning and implement IEP goals.
• Supervise students to ensure safety and well-being in all areas.
• Maintain student records and assess progress; prepare reports as required.
• Conduct student assessments for placement and progress evaluation.
• Assist with planning curriculum and preparing materials and resources.
