Job summary

UTeach—Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin seeks a Professional Development Coordinator to lead state and national professional learning initiatives, including events, campus visits, district communications, and Communities of Practice for K-12 STEM education at the National Center for STEM Education.

The role supports data tracking, dashboards, reporting, and documentation, while coordinating playbooks and resources to promote best practices; travel up to 10% and in-person

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating events, meetings, professional development or similar programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience collecting, organizing, and maintaining program data, reports, and documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and ability to use technology to support administration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned programs, projects, events, meetings, site visits and professional development activities to ensure timelines and deliverables.
• Plan and support logistics, agendas, materials, participant communication and follow-up for in-person, virtual and hybrid activities.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including districts, partners, vendors, and university staff.
• Maintain program records, dashboards, trackers, surveys, and artifacts needed for reporting and evaluation.
• Support development of playbooks, manuals, procedures, templates, and other resources to promote best practices.
