Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver hands-on STEM, digital tech, art, life skills, and/or fitness instruction in in-person settings across after-school and school programs in the New York area. You will work with training, lesson plans, and curriculum while reporting to a Program Success Manager.

The role requires AA degree or higher, 2+ years of teaching, strong communication, reliable transportation, and willingness to complete mandatory training.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or higher is required or preferred.
• 2+ years of teaching or instructing experience.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willing to complete mandatory training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, in‑person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction.
• Prepare for instruction with provided training, lesson plans, curricula, and materials.
• Teach students in grades PreK–12 (assignment varies).
• Maintain schedule, arrive on time, and review materials before instruction.
• Engage with Program Success Manager and site personnel in a professional manner.
