Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a passionate part-time instructor to deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, art, life skills, and fitness programs at campuses in the Bronx. You will be supplied with training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, and you will teach students in grades PreK-12 as assigned, reporting to a Program Success Manager.

Ideal candidates have an AA degree (or higher), 2+ years of teaching experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• AA degree required or higher.
• 2+ years of teaching/instructing experience preferred.
• Experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction.
• Follow lesson plans, prepare materials, and maintain schedule compliance.
• Communicate professionally with Program Success Manager and site staff.
• Adapt instruction from Nexplore content, ensure engagement and safety.
• Engage families through showcases and events.
