Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver in-person STEM, digital tech, art, life skills, and/or fitness instruction to PreK-12 students. You will use provided training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, and report to a Program Success Manager.

This role requires scheduling commitment, strong communication, and the ability to adapt instruction to diverse learners across multiple programs and sites.

Qualifications

• AA Degree (or higher) is required or preferred.
• 2+ years of teaching or instructing experience.
• Experience working with children in educational settings.
• Educational/development or training experience is a plus.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach, review lesson plans and materials.
• Deliver meaningful, standard-aligned instruction that fosters critical thinking and problem solving.
• Communicate professionally and efficiently with the Program Success Manager and site staff.
• Deliver engaging instruction from Nexplore’s program library, with accommodations as needed.
• Participate in family engagement efforts to help children access and engage in programs.
