Job summary

Nexplore in California is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver STEM, digital tech, art, life skills, and fitness sessions to PreK-12 students. You will teach in-person, use provided lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, and report to a Program Success Manager.

Responsibilities include following schedule, engaging students, leveraging Nexplore's programs, and communicating professionally with site staff and families. A passion for hands-on learning and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• AA degree or higher required.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standard-aligned instruction to PreK-12 students.
• Prepare by reviewing lesson plans and materials prior to instruction.
• Engage in professional, responsive communication with Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Deliver engaging instruction from Nexplore’s program collection and provide accommodations as needed.
• Participate in family engagement efforts and support student learning.
