Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver in-person STEM, digital tech, art, life skills and fitness classes across PreK-12 students. Youll use provided lesson plans, prepare ahead, and teach across various assignments.

Training, curriculum and materials are supplied, with reporting to a Program Success Manager. Qualifications include an AA degree or higher, 2+ years teaching experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• AA Degree (or higher) required
• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
• Experience working with children
• Educational (development or training) experience
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to complete mandatory training

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction
• Prepare for instruction with provided lesson plans, curriculum and materials
• Teach students in grades PreK-12 (varies by assignment)
• Report to Program Success Manager
• Follow provided schedule and maintain site expectations
• Engage with families and participate in family engagement efforts
