Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America, Inc. in Hamilton, Ohio, is seeking a Production Team Lead for an on-site steering production line. You will direct day-to-day work, coordinate operator assignments, train staff, and ensure safe, efficient production that meets quality and delivery targets.

You will escalate issues to the Supervisor and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates have manufacturing leadership experience, SAP and MS Office knowledge, and a focus on 6S housekeeping

Qualifications

• Leadership and motivation of teams in high production environments.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and process discipline.
• Ability to organize and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak periods.
• Experience with MES and shop floor systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day work on the steering production line and coordinate operator assignments.
• Provide training and coaching to operators to meet safety, quality and efficiency standards.
• Escalate issues to the Supervisor and assist with root cause investigations.
• Ensure equipment readiness and manage changeovers per build schedule.
• Record shift results in MES and communicate line performance and issues.
• Support process improvements and share best practices across locations.
