• Leadership and ability to motivate teams under high production volumes.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and quality.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Attention to detail and adherence to processes without shortcuts.
• Overtime availability during peak production periods.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day work on the steering production line and coordinate operator assignments.
• Provide training and coaching following safety, quality, and work-instruction standards.
• Escalate employee and operational issues to the Supervisor as needed.
• Execute production plan and ensure changeovers per build schedule.
• Complete inspections and report discrepancies per quality policies.
• Support root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain equipment readiness and set up machines for changeovers.
• Record shift results in MES and review production output.
