• Supervise and provide work direction for Steelmaking Maintenance hourly union employees, plan, manage, and review their work performance.
• Assist in coordinated maintenance support to meet production goals for quality, availability, and tonnage.
• Implement safety goals to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist in coordinating planned equipment outages and standard downturns.
• Coordinate contractor work in the Steelmaking Maintenance department.
• Analyze equipment needs, ensure equipment reliability, and develop preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage mechanical/electrical/electronic troubleshooting, repairs, root cause analysis, and equipment improvements.
