Cleveland-Cliffs Butler Works in Butler, PA is seeking an Operations Shift Manager for the Steelmaking department. The Shift Manager will supervise a union workforce and oversee the processing of steel through the unit.

Responsibilities include directing hourly bargaining unit employees, coordinating heat timing, and contributing to Job Safety and Health Analysis and SOP updates. The role requires willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include supervisory experience in an industrial or related environment.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Strong organizational abilities are expected.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and providing work direction to hourly bargaining unit employees.
• Control shop timing, ensuring each heat meets its destination on time.
• Assist in the development, review, and update of Job Safety and Health Analysis and Quality SOPs for the department.
• Other duties as assigned.
