Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. in Butler, PA, is seeking a Supervising Maintenance Technician to lead union maintenance staff, plan and review work, and support reliability and safety targets in heavy manufacturing.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Experience in heavy manufacturing maintenance, including mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and provide work direction for Maintenance hourly union employees and technicians.
Plan, manage and review work performance to meet goals.
Support maintenance to achieve quality, availability and tonnage targets.
Implement safety goals and maintain a safe work environment.
Coordinate planned outages and workplace downturns.
Coordinate contractor work in the maintenance department.
Perform equipment reliability analysis and develop preventive maintenance programs.
Troubleshoot, repair, perform root cause analysis and drive improvements.
