Qualifications

• Ability to correctly read work orders or follow oral instructions.
• Ability to meet or exceed minimum productivity levels.
• Ability to plan and organize work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of product and inventory control techniques and procedures.
• Ability to maintain internal communications related to routing, safety, and customer relations.
• Demonstrate basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).

Responsibilities

• Follow safety methods and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Safely move steel to/from storage or production areas using equipment.
• Lift up to 50 pounds for long moves and navigate multiple loads safely.
• Apply proper bundling techniques and load configurations.
• Configure loads based on planned routes with multiple stops.
• Maximize load capacity on trailers while maintaining safety.
• Maintain and operate tools and equipment listed as required.
• Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
