Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support operations by pulling, loading and receiving steel materials. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy and efficient handling in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating manual equipment such as forklifts and cranes, and following all safety procedures. You will work indoors and outdoors and collaborate with team members to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret work orders or verbal instructions.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver items safely and follow established procedures.
• Physically able to work indoors/outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company methods.

Responsibilities

• Follow Triple-S safe methods of work at all times and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Safely move steel to/from storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles using hand, forklift, or crane.
• Attach slings, hooks or devices to lift and guide loads; secure materials during transport.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs for up to 25 ft; access heights up to 5 ft as required.
• Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment (tape measure, caliper, hammer, pallet trucks, etc.).
• Determine safety issues related to equipment and report them promptly.
