Zachry Group is seeking a Boilermaker/Ironworker for industrial construction in Texas. You will construct iron/steel structures, read blueprints, and align components with cranes and rigging.

The role requires experience with welding, bolting, and safety protocols in an industrial setting. Responsibilities include fabricating equipment per drawings, performing layouts, and coordinating with the mechanical department to ensure precise installations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as Boilermaker/ironworker or similar role.
• Ability to read IFC drawings and lay out from drawings.
• Knowledge of safe rigging practices and bolting procedures.
• Experience with welding, cutting torches, and basic fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and determine scope, quantities, and sizes of materials.
• Identify tools required for tasks and safety precautions.
• Fabricate equipment per blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Hoist equipment via bull rigging or crane and align steel members.
• Bolt, rivet, or bolt structural members and perform cutting and welding.
