Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery personnel/equipment for safe, cost-effective, timely delivery.
• Review schedules and requirements to prioritize loads.
• Prepare shipping docs: bills of lading, load tickets, packing lists.
• Verify shipments match project, release, bar list, quantity, destination.
• Coordinate yard/loading to ensure orders are staged for loading.
• Determine loading sequence based on schedule and truck capacity.
• Monitor deliveries and communicate delays or issues to team.
• Handle customer inquiries/complaints regarding deliveries.
• Coordinate vendor shipments of major buyouts/drop-shipped materials.
• Ensure vehicle licensing, safety and maintenance comply with requirements.
• Maintain records on vehicles and transportation equipment.
• Suggest changes to methods/equipment to improve service/cost.
• Assist in production coordination as needed.
