Leeco Steel is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping and receiving documentation for inbound and outbound steel plate loads. You will collaborate with transportation providers to meet customer due dates in the most cost-effective way.

The role requires experience in logistics, computer literacy, and a high school diploma or GED; you will prepare bills of lading, review shipments, and help streamline warehouse traffic to improve efficiency.

Competenze

Experience in a Logistics related field.
Knowledge using computers and other common office equipment.
Read, write, and comprehend in English; multitask under pressure.

Mansioni

Coordinate and negotiate freight rates with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
Monitor outbound shipments to ensure orders are in transit as scheduled
Communicate issues, delays, or budget restraints with the sales team
Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
Prepare Bill of Ladings and send finalized shipping documents to billing
Develop processes to make the supply chain more efficient and organized
Enter receivers/manifests of material via Rail or Truck
Manage a shipping schedule to accurately show sales/billing daily shipments
Read and understand material certifications
Manage and ensure traffic flow through the warehouse is working
