Drake-Williams Steel, Inc. seeks a Production/Shipping & Receiving Coordinator in Omaha to manage loading, delivery scheduling and carrier coordination, while keeping customers informed of deliveries and delays.

You will prepare billing documents, verify shipments against project requirements, and maintain accurate inventory records. Strong communication, multitasking and computer skills are essential; experience in fabrication environments is a plus.

Formación

• Two years shipping/receiving experience; fabrication industry preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of transporting methods and scheduling.
• Strong customer service, communications, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with urgency.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and schedule delivery personnel and equipment for on-time, cost-effective deliveries.
• Review shipping schedules and jobsite dates to prioritize loads.
• Prepare bills of lading, load tickets, packing lists, and other documents.
• Verify shipments match project, quantities, and destination; coordinate staging.
• Communicate delays, shortages, or issues to customers and team; handle inquiries.
• Coordinate vendor shipments of buyouts and drop-ships; maintain records.
• Assist in production coordination as needed.
