Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Production Equipment Operator to join our team in Colorado. This hourly, non-exempt role reads and executes work orders to meet customer specifications, safely handling steel during production, loading, and movement.

You will work under supervision, follow safe methods of work, and participate in training and development programs. Overtime may be required to meet demand; benefits include tuition reimbursement and comprehensive insurance programs.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret work orders to determine material and equipment needs.
• Safely meet productivity levels and follow established procedures.
• Organize work activities independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe methods of work and report unsafe conditions.
• Move steel to/from storage or production areas using manual methods, forklift, or crane.
• Lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds for distance as required.
• Apply proper bundling and loading techniques for transportation.
• Configure loads for planned routes with multiple stops.
• Maximize trailer load capacity without compromising safety.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment (tape measure, caliper, micrometer, forklift, cranes).
• Identify safety issues related to equipment and promptly report them.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
