Job summary

Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. in Pueblo, Colorado is seeking a Steel Production Worker to support the production and finishing mills of our large steel plant. The role focuses on safety, operating equipment, and helping maintain production in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tools and equipment used for industrial purposes.
• Understanding of basic manufacturing processes; familiarity with heavy industry or mining is preferred.
• Ability to operate power and hand tools, machinery, and mobile equipment; 12 months experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Observe safety rules and lock-out procedures.
• Maintain OSHA 10 and equipment certifications as required.
• Coordinate with mill personnel to maintain production and operate equipment safely.
• Perform routine maintenance and assist maintenance personnel.
• Notify supervision of abnormal conditions.
