Triple-S Steel is seeking a Production Equipment Operator in Arizona. This hourly, non-exempt position reads and executes work orders to timely meet customer requirements and supports safe, efficient production on the shop floor.

The role involves moving steel, operating forklifts and cranes, and following Safe Methods of Work. Overtime may be required to meet customer needs and production deadlines.

Formación

• Ability to correctly read work orders or take oral instructions to determine tasks.
• Ability to meet or exceed minimum productivity levels.
• Ability to plan and organize work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of inventory control techniques and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with other departments regarding routing, safety, and customer relations.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Customer relations skills may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Follow safe methods of work and report unsafe conditions to supervision.
• Move steel to/from storage or production areas using hand, forklift, or crane.
• Lift up to 25–40 pounds and navigate stairs or ladders as needed.
• Apply proper bundling techniques for shipments.
• Configure loads based on route and stops.
• Maximize load capacity on trailers without compromising safety.
• Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment (e.g., tape measure, caliper, micrometer, forklift, crane).
• Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
