Job summary

Triple-S Steel is seeking a Production Equipment Operator to read and execute work orders, move steel safely, and support timely production. This non-exempt hourly role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and may require overtime to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read work orders and follow instructions.
• Ability to operate forklift and move steel safely.
• Lift up to 40 pounds and handle materials as required.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Move steel to/from storage or production areas using forklift or crane.
• Read work orders and execute tasks to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure safety and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Configure loads and maximize trailer capacity without compromising safety.
• Operate tools and equipment and maintain inventory flow.
