Job summary

Eaton’s Fabrication team in the United States is seeking a FAB Machine Operator - Steel Press Brake. The role involves setting up, operating and maintaining press brake machinery to produce parts from drawings and work orders.

You will read blueprints, use calipers and tape measures, and ensure quality while adhering to safety rules. Training and TPM/5S+ responsibilities are part of daily tasks, with a weekend shift component.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and measurement tools (calipers, protractors, tape measures).
• Machining certificate or fabrication experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup for PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines.
• Operate equipment to produce parts per work orders/drawings.
• Interpret Kanban cards and drawings; complete paperwork and system transactions.
• Inspect final components against specs and perform operator maintenance.
• Provide on-the-job training for new Operators and participate in TPM/5S+ tasks.
