Job summary

rms Company is seeking a Brake Press Operator for a weekend shift. You will plan, lay out and perform sheet metal operations to fabricate components with tight tolerances. The role requires reading blueprints, recording production data in the ERP system and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2 years brake press experience. Proficiency with MS Office is expected, along with mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow written instructions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years brake press setup experience preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, follow and document work instructions and SOPs.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to take direction from supervisor.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up brake presses to bend, cut or form parts.
• Use sheet metal hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Record hours and production data in ERP system.
• Read blueprints and work instructions to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace and follow 5S standards.
