Job summary

Minerals Technologies Inc. in Cambridge, OH seeks a Steel Mill Service Representative to service, maintain, and repair complex equipment on site, including Minscan systems. You will work closely with production teams to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, ability to read schematics, and proactive communication with management. You may participate in training, downtime reduction initiatives, and support for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to read and speak English.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity and electronics.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment including Minscan; perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Read schematics and diagrams; keep equipment clean and in working order.
• Assist in administrative/record keeping and inventory tracking.
• Train new hires and promote safety awareness.
• Maintain strong customer focus and support new trials and product testing.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (5S, TPM, Kaizen).
