Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; ability to speak/read English.
• Knowledge: Steel-making or related experience preferred but not required; mechanical/electrical/hydraulic experience encouraged.
• Skills & Abilities: Strong communication, interpersonal, adaptability, initiative, integrity, safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Apply material (product) and operate all relevant equipment as required.
• Follow SOPs regarding equipment and product applications.
• Operate equipment and perform basic maintenance; keep equipment clean and in good working order.
• Maintain a strong customer focus and positive profile with the customer.
• Actively participate in lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, TPM, Daily Management Control, Standard Work, Problem Solving).
