Minerals Technologies Inc. is seeking a Steel Mill Laborer in Sedalia, MO, to support installation, maintenance, and repair of Minscan systems in steel mills and related environments.

The role involves hands-on electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, equipment calibration, and customer support, with substantial travel required to install and service on-site. Safety-sensitive position with pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or trade certification preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of Minscan equipment at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues impacting system performance.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and calibration of Minscan systems and supporting hardware.
• Diagnose equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
• Travel to customer locations to support installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
