Job summary

Minerals Technologies Inc. is seeking a Steel Mill Service Manager for field-based service across the USA.

You will help install, maintain, and troubleshoot Minscan systems in steel mills and other industrial settings, ensuring safety and reliability while collaborating with customers and service teams. The role requires hands-on mechanical/electrical skills, the ability to read schematics, and willingness to travel 50-75% to customer sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or trade certification preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of Minscan equipment at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues impacting system performance.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and calibration of Minscan systems and supporting hardware.
• Diagnose equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities.
• Travel to customer locations to support installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
