Minerals Technologies Inc. is seeking a Steel Mill Laborer for our MINTEQ unit in the USA, McMinnville, OR. You will join the service team providing on-site installation, maintenance, and commissioning support at steel customers.

Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen and be able to travel within North America. The role requires electrical/mechatronic background, ability to read wiring diagrams, and experience with PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Completed education as electrician or mechatronic.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams of PLC and I/O systems.
• Basic knowledge in control technology and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission equipment at steel mill sites.
• Assist project managers with customized systems and laser business tasks.
• Install and wire control cabinets and cabling of machines.
