Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking a skilled Millwright with strong welding capabilities to join our maintenance division for fall shutdowns. You will maintain, repair, and install industrial machinery across steel mills and related plants in Alabama.

The ideal candidate has MIG, TIG, and Stick welding experience, a solid background in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical work, and thrives in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in steel mills, sawmills, and power plants.
• Strong welding experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding with various materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & repairs: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and conveyors.
• Welding & fabrication: MIG, TIG, Stick welding for repairs and fabrication of parts and structures.
• Preventative maintenance: Develop schedules to reduce downtime and extend machinery life.
• Installation & commissioning: Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Safety & compliance: Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
