Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Millwright with strong welding capabilities to join our maintenance division for our scheduled fall shutdowns. The role involves maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial machinery across steel mills and manufacturing plants, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience, proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems,

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in steel mills, sawmills, and power plants.
• Strong welding experience, particularly MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, with the ability to work with steel, stainless steel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment, conveyor systems, crushers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other industrial machinery.
• Welding & Fabrication: Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) for repairs and fabrication of parts, structures, and equipment as needed; conduct welding inspections.
