Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking a skilled Millwright with welding capabilities to join our maintenance division during fall shutdowns in Alabama. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial machinery across steel mills, with emphasis on welding, safety, and efficiency.

Ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, experience in MIG/TIG/Stick welding, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment within mining, sawmill, and automotive contexts.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in steel mills, sawmills, and power plants.
• Strong MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, with ability to work with multiple materials.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and industrial machinery.
• Welding and fabrication of parts and structures as needed.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and management.
• Apply troubleshooting skills to identify failures and provide solutions.
