Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC in Memphis, TN seeks a skilled Millwright with strong welding capabilities to join our maintenance team for scheduled fall shutdowns.

You will maintain, repair, and install industrial machinery across steel mills, sawmills, and auto plants, using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding in a safety-focused environment.

Required: Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience; extensive welding experience; ability to read blueprints and work in demanding conditions.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Strong welding experience (MIG, TIG, STICK) with metal varieties (steel, stainless).
• Solid background in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electricals.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial machinery across steel mills, sawmills, and auto plants.
• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) for repairs and fabrication; conduct weld inspections.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Assist with installation, alignment, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all tasks.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and management to resolve issues.
