Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC seeks a seasoned Millwright to join our maintenance division during scheduled fall shutdowns. You will maintain, repair, and install industrial machinery across facilities, with a strong emphasis on welding, mechanical systems, and safety.

Ideal candidates bring a Millwright apprenticeship, substantial industrial maintenance experience, and the ability to work in demanding environments while collaborating with engineering and management teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Millwright apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Industrial maintenance experience in steel mills, sawmills, or power plants.
• Strong welding experience (MIG, TIG, and Stick) with various materials.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift heavy parts.
• Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs: troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment across industrial facilities.
• Welding & Fabrication: MIG, TIG, and Stick welding for repairs and fabrication.
• Preventative Maintenance: develop and implement PM schedules to minimize downtime.
• Installation & Commissioning: assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Safety & Compliance: follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: work with maintenance technicians, engineers, and management.
• Problem Solving: diagnose mechanical failures and implement solutions.
