Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. is seeking a motivated Material Handler to support safe handling of steel and efficient movement across storage and production areas. The role involves operating forklifts and overhead cranes, selecting appropriate rigging, and maintaining equipment to meet quality standards.

You will perform routine maintenance, follow safety protocols, and work both indoors and outdoors in various weather. Teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret work orders to determine material needs.
• Demonstrate basic math skills for counting and measuring.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to safety procedures and on-time performance.

Responsibilities

• Safely move steel to and from storage/production areas using manual handling, forklift, or crane.
• Operate forklift, overhead crane, or other equipment; attach slings and guide loads.
• Maintain and safely operate tools and equipment; report safety issues promptly.
• Follow safety methods of work at all times and meet daily productivity goals.
• Attend required meetings and adapt to varying weather conditions.
