Lkjordan in South Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Shop Helper to support our steel fabrication team on the 1st shift.

You will assist with processing orders, material handling, quality checks, and packing, while maintaining a safe, organized work area. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, read a tape measure, and operate basic shop equipment; forklift experience is a plus.

Formación

• Experience in steel fabrication or related industrial environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with processing and preparing steel orders for production and shipment
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, and production instructions
• Operate shop equipment and tools safely
• Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Verify material dimensions and specifications using measuring devices
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and completeness
• Package, label, and prepare orders for delivery
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
