Job summary

AllTex Personnel is seeking dependable General Laborers to support operations across client sites. This Shop Helper role involves loading/unloading materials, assisting skilled tradespeople, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to follow PPE protocols, with good communication and teamwork skills. A valid driver's license may be required; bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50-60 lbs and perform physical labor.
• Willingness to work in varying weather and industrial conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience in warehouse, construction, or manufacturing preferred.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on duties.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Live no more than 20 minutes from the company.
• E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris and hazards
• Assist skilled workers (e.g., welders, machinists, electricians) with tasks
• Operate basic machinery and hand tools
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Support inventory and delivery operations
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisors
