Job summary

LK Jordan & Associates is seeking four dependable Shop Laborers to join a busy East Houston production facility. The role is temp-to-hire with a Monday–Friday schedule, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM, located in East Houston.

You’ll operate production and fabrication equipment, read a tape measure, load and move materials, inspect products, and help meet daily production goals in a fast-paced shop. Training is provided and long-term opportunities may arise based on attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing physical tasks.
• Willingness to learn and train on manufacturing equipment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and fabrication equipment safely.
• Read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
• Support daily production goals in a fast‑paced environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions.
• Assist with additional shop duties as needed.
