Toshiba America Energy Systems Corporation (TAES) seeks a Steam Turbine Field Service Technical Advisor to provide field guidance during maintenance, inspection, and outage projects on power generation equipment. This role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, safety, and customer interaction in field settings.

The position involves coordinating with engineering teams, performing inspections, and supporting startup and testing activities at customer sites. 70% travel is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical/industrial/engineering tech or related field.
• 2–6 years of field service experience preferred.
• Experience with outage execution, maintenance, repair or troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and field support for outages, maintenance, repair, inspection, commissioning, and field service projects involving power generation equipment.
• Assist with disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing of steam turbines, generators, valves, and auxiliary systems.
• Assist with start-up activities as assigned.
• Coordinate with Toshiba engineering teams to support issue resolution.
• Prepare and maintain accurate inspection and outage reports.
• Travel up to 70% to customer sites for outages, inspections, and field service activities.
