Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–8 years of engineering experience with steam turbines or heavy rotating equipment.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and technical presentation skills.
• Proficiency with CAD and engineering analysis tools.
• Experience leading technical tasks independently.
• Turbine design and repair methodologies.
• Material science and failure mechanisms.
• Industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Cross-disciplinary engineering principles including dynamics and FEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation of turbine issues and develop repair solutions.
• Independently perform engineering analysis, including coordination with FEA and dynamics teams.
• Develop and validate repair methods and material specifications.
• Represent engineering in customer discussions and technical reviews.
• Perform root cause analysis and failure investigations.
• Assist with proposal development and technical risk assessments.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and functional teams.
• Approve technical documentation, procedures, and reports.
