Job summary

Jobtailor in Florida is seeking a Training and Development professional to coordinate statewide leadership trainings, develop Individual Development Plans, and enroll participants in the CLIMB system. You will travel statewide to deliver sessions and ensure program integrity.

Responsibilities include training participants on CLIMB, approving course credit, and maintaining evaluation feedback to drive improvements across departments, while collaborating with leaders on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience in a training environment.
• Experience facilitating virtual training sessions using Microsoft Teams or other virtual platforms.
• One year of supervisory/lead experience.
• Experience coordinating large statewide training programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers leadership professional development trainings statewide.
• Meets one-on-one with participants to develop Individual Development Plans.
• Enrolls Career Ladder participants in the CLIMB system and assigns required courses.
• Trains participants on use of the CLIMB system.
• Approves course credit and verifies completion of Career Ladder requirements.
• Travels frequently throughout Florida to deliver training.
• Provides guidance to leaders and staff on programs, initiatives, and operational issues.
• Supports change management initiatives through communication and reinforcement of new processes and policy changes.
• Develops plans, reports, and presentations to support strategic decision-making.
