Job summary

The Department of Children and Families in Florida seeks a Leadership Development & Training Consultant to coordinate statewide leadership trainings and develop individual development plans for participants across the agency. The role requires extensive travel and in-person engagement to deliver programs.

Qualified candidates will have multiple years in training, supervisory experience, and proficiency with virtual delivery platforms.

Qualifications

At least three years’ experience in a training environment, training and facilitating adult learners in a classroom environment.
At least two years’ experience facilitating virtual training sessions using Microsoft Teams or other virtual platforms
At least one year of experience in a supervisory/lead role
At least two years of experience leading and overseeing the implementation of multiple concurrent training and/or initiative projects.

Responsibilities

Coordinates and delivers leadership professional development trainings offered statewide by Workforce Learning and Development team.
Career Ladder: meet with participants to develop Individual Development Plans and manage CLIMB system enrollment and course credit.
Collects feedback and acts as SME to update offerings based on evaluations.
Support change management initiatives through communication and reinforcement of new processes and policies.
