University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking an IM+CANS Coaching Specialist in the School of Social Work to coach statewide behavioral health staff and leadership in using IM+CANS and related tools. The role focuses on training, curriculum development, and delivering learning collaboratives to support best practices in clinical care.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in social work, Illinois licensure, and 1–3 years in behavioral health with IM+CANS experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work from an accredited college or university.
• Clinical licensure in Illinois (LPHA status).
• 1–3 years of Behavioral Health Services experience.
• 1–3 years of IM+CANS user/supervisor experience.
• Active IM+CANS user certification including PATH training.
• IM+CANS trainer certification within 90 days of hire.
• SOC trainer certification within 120 days of hiring.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in person and online coaching sessions and learning collaboratives to improve IM+CANS usage.
• Assess agency challenges and develop strategies for effective implementation and analysis.
• Coordinate with Clinical Quality Review to align practices during implementation.
• Lead Learning Collaboratives to support IM+CANS usage and SOC collaboration.
• Develop training curriculum and deliver on-site and web-based training.
• Plan and deliver statewide training for IM+CANS and Medicaid services.
• Statewide travel may be necessary several days per week.
