Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Manager to lead statewide end-user computing, device provisioning, and end-user support services. You will supervise desktop support technicians, oversee imaging, Intune, Autopilot, and software deployment, ensuring security and reliability for agency staff across the state.

A bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is required; role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with telecom/data processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise desktop support operations and endpoint lifecycle management.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and mobile device management.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Ability to work in an environment with incarcerated youth.

Responsibilities

• Direct statewide Desktop Support program and supervise technicians.
• Oversee endpoint imaging, Intune, Autopilot, and software deployment.
• Lead end-user support and resolve hardware/software issues statewide.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor services, and technology acquisitions.
• Plan statewide deployment to maintain security and readiness.
• Perform related duties as required.
