Job summary

ND Health and Human Services is seeking a Dementia Care Administrator to provide statewide leadership for North Dakota's Dementia Care Services Program (DCSP) and help shape the state's response to Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. The role focuses on implementing and updating the state plan and serving as a subject matter expert for dementia-related public health issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in one of the listed fields.
• Minimum of three years of progressively responsible work experience in one or more of the following areas: public health, adult and aging services, Dementia or Alzheimer's programs, project or program management, grant administration, coalition building, community engagement or healthcare or long-term services and supports.

Responsibilities

• Provide statewide leadership for North Dakota's Dementia Care Services Program (DCSP).
• Lead implementation, monitoring, evaluation and updates of the state plan.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Alzheimer's, dementia and related public health issues.
• Educate and collaborate with diverse audiences on dementia prevention, early detection, treatment and research.
• Write, manage and monitor federal grants supporting the state plan.
