Qualifications

• One year as a Specialized Career and Technical Education Advisor 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) in the same parenthetical
• Five years of professional career and technical education experience in the area of the parenthetical, including two years in the development and implementation of specialized career and technical education curricula or programs
• An equivalent combination of professional career and technical education experience and training in the area of the parenthetical, which includes two years in the development and implementation of specialized career and technical education curricula or programs.

Responsibilities

• Policy Leadership: Develop and maintain policies for trade and industrial education programs and recommend needed updates
• Program Analysis: Review current CTE practices and offer improvements to support students, educators, and industry partners
• CTE Development: Support the creation and upkeep of high-quality CTE systems and teacher preparation programs
• Field Support: Lead workshops, visits, presentations, and written communication to assist statewide CTE initiatives
• Technology Use: Share updates and resources through email, web tools, and distance learning platforms
• Research Support: Create or analyze data that strengthens CTE quality and trade and industrial education practices
